The Bobby Moore Sports Ball fund raising:
Last year's Ball raised over £150,000 and with support from champions of sports and industry plus celebrated celebrities, this years Ball aims to raise over £200,000 for Bowel Cancer Research.
About Bowel Cancer
Bowel cancer is the third most common cancer in the UK after breast and lung cancer. Almost 100 people in this country are diagnosed with the disease every day. Bowel cancer affects similar numbers of men and women.
A largely preventable diseaseThe good news is that around two-thirds of bowel cancer cases could be prevented by changes to lifestyle. We can all make choices that will reduce our risk of the disease, such as taking plenty of exercise, maintaining a healthy body weight and eating a healthy diet.
